The Xtra Seal 13-672 Lead-Wire Combination Repair Unit is a professional one-piece patch and plug repair designed to provide permanent repairs for radial and bias-ply tires. Combining an integrated repair stem with a reinforced inner liner patch, the 13-672 restores both the tire's injury channel and inner liner in a single repair while meeting industry-recommended repair procedures for repairable tread injuries.
Unlike quilled combination units, the 13-672 features a lead-wire installation system that allows technicians to insert the repair from inside the tire and pull it through the injury without special insertion tools. The repair unit utilizes gray vulcanizing gum with a blue poly backing, while the stem is dip-coated with premium vulcanizing gum for excellent adhesion. It is suitable for chemical or heat vulcanization and is intended for punctures up to 3/16 in. (5 mm).
