The Coats 1300-2D Direct Drive Wheel Balancer is a professional passenger-car and light-truck wheel balancer designed to combine straightforward operation with Coats' durable Direct Drive technology.

Its 2D automatic data entry automatically measures wheel distance and diameter, reducing manual measurements and helping technicians move through balancing jobs more efficiently. The 1300 also simultaneously displays static and dynamic imbalance information through Coats' Static-on-Screen™ system.

At the heart of the machine is Coats' Direct Drive system, which combines the motor and spindle into a single pre-balanced assembly. Eliminating traditional belts and pulleys reduces moving components and helps the balancer maintain calibration and accuracy over time.

Coats' current product page lists a 639 lb shipping weight. An available manual lists 680 lb with accessories, so for your current online listing I'd use 639 lb as the manufacturer-published shipping weight unless your actual crated unit is labeled differently.

2D Automatic Data Entry

The "2D" designation refers to the balancer automatically acquiring two wheel measurements:

Distance — the distance between the balancer and wheel.

Diameter — the wheel's rim diameter.

The technician still enters the wheel width separately. This is one of the main distinctions between the 1300-2D and higher-end Coats 3D balancers that can automatically acquire distance, diameter, and width.
