Product Overview
The ESCO 20466C Tire Balancing Beads provide an internal dynamic balancing solution for commercial truck and other pneumatic tire applications. Rather than attaching fixed wheel weights to the rim, thousands of free-moving beads distribute themselves inside the tire as it rotates, continually responding to changes in the tire and wheel assembly.
Because the beads can reposition themselves as the tire wears, they provide ongoing balancing throughout the tire's service life. ESCO's beads are static-free, reusable, and designed not to clump or obstruct the valve stem.
The 20466C bulk bucket is particularly useful for tire shops, commercial fleets, and mobile tire service operations because technicians can measure the required amount for each tire instead of stocking numerous individual bag sizes. ESCO supplies a 3 oz. measuring scoop, and its application chart specifies the appropriate amount by tire size.

How ESCO Balancing Beads Work
As the tire rotates, centrifugal force causes the beads to move around the inside of the tire. When an imbalance develops, the beads redistribute to provide counterbalancing mass where needed.
Unlike conventional wheel weights, which remain fixed in one location, the beads can continually reposition as tread wears and the balance characteristics of the tire change.
