The Coats Maxx 80 220V Tire Changer is a heavy-duty professional rim-clamp tire changer designed for high-volume passenger car and light-truck tire service. Powered by a 220V, 2 HP electric motor, the Maxx 80 combines Coats' Robo-Arm® and RoboRoller® helper systems to provide additional control when mounting and demounting conventional, low-profile, and run-flat tires.
With a 6–24 inch external clamping range, capacity for tires up to 50 inches in diameter, Grip Max 2.0 clamps, and a high-pressure dual-nozzle bead sealing system, the Maxx 80 is designed to give professional tire shops the versatility and power needed for everyday tire service as well as more challenging wheel and tire assemblies.

Robo-Arm® & RoboRoller® System
A major advantage of the Maxx 80 over the Maxx 70 is its dual-helper configuration.
The Robo-Arm® helps keep the tire bead positioned in the wheel's drop center during mounting and demounting. The RoboRoller® provides an additional point of pressure and control, making difficult low-profile and stiff-sidewall tires easier for a technician to handle.
Together, these systems reduce the amount of manual force required and make the Maxx 80 particularly well suited for shops regularly servicing low-profile, performance, and run-flat tires.
Grip Max 2.0 Clamping System
The Grip Max 2.0 clamps are designed to provide secure wheel clamping while reducing metal-to-metal contact with the wheel. Integrated protective components help minimize the possibility of cosmetic wheel damage, an important consideration when servicing painted, polished, and custom wheels.
