Product Overview
The KEX KX-378 Tire Repair Stem is a 1/4" (6 mm) stem unit with pilot wire designed to fill the injury channel as part of a professional two-piece tire repair. The molded-in pilot wire helps guide the stem through the prepared puncture channel for easier installation.
After the stem is installed, an appropriately sized repair patch is applied over the injury on the inner liner to complete the two-piece repair. KEX specifies the KX-378 for qualifying 1/4" (6 mm) injuries in passenger, light-truck, and heavy-duty truck tires when used according to its repair chart.
